FIRE-RESISTANT FABRICS FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS
In hotels, restaurants, retirement homes... the use of fire-resistant fabrics is mandatory. Incorporating a fire retardant, these products minimize the risk of flames spreading in the event of a fire. In France, standard NF P92-507 defines the fire-retardant classification of building and furnishing materials according to five categories: from M0 for non-combustible, to M4 for the most flammable materials. So, for curtains, blinds and wall hangings, only M1-rated fabrics (combustible but non-flammable) should be used.
If seats are to be covered, an M3 classification (moderately flammable) is mandatory, but an M2 classification is strongly recommended. For bedding items (comforters, pillows and bolsters, eiderdowns, cushions, etc.) and bed linen (undersheets, sheets, blankets, bedspreads, bed throws and bed runners), Standard NF EN ISO 12952- 1&2 requires that these items have passed the test of non-ignitability to burning cigarettes and matches.

Trade shows, conventions, conferences, inaugurations, receptions or sporting events, Indigo Diffusion can help you stage your events. We can create curtains of great heights and widths to dress a stage or separate spaces. SWINING AND UPHOLSTERY WORKSHOPS
The 300 m2 dressmaking workshop houses 12 seamstresses specialized in upholstery. These made-to-measure experts work with all types of fabric (wool, cotton, velvet, linen, imitation leather, faux fur...) to produce curtains, sheers, blinds, cushions, plaids, bed runners, bedspreads...
Our team of upholsterers and decorators can carry out a wide range of projects: restoring a bench seat, renovating a sofa, reupholstering a chair, shaping a headboard... Whether it's giving a new lease of life to an old armchair or making a new piece of furniture, their know-how can meet any request.
